Board Members

Larry Keast graduated from the University of Texas and is a registered engineer in Texas. After nine years with Cameron and four years with World Wide Oil Tools, Larry started Venturetech Corporation in his garage in 1980, and today Venturetech power swivels are drilling oil and gas wells around the world. With 17 patents already issued and four more pending, he expects the company to double in size in the next few years.

Larry serves on three other boards as well.

Richard Neels is President of Hydraquip Distribution Inc. and CEO and President of Employee Owned Holdings, Inc., a holding company for four wholly owned subsidiaries that are 100% employee owned.

Richard is another business success story. In his 33 years with Hydraquip, he has risen in the ranks from a repairman to the CEO of the company. During his involvement in sales and management, the company has grown from 7 million dollars in revenues to a 2013 forecast value of 245 million dollars.

Richard has served on the Board of the Fluid Power Distributors Association, and the Board of the Young Executives.

Norma Serrano is Vice President of Private Banking at IBERIABANK. Norma has 28 years of progressive sales experience as a private banker and business relationship manager offering custom lending solutions, cost effective-treasury services, interest-bearing deposit products and financial planning/wealth management. She holds Series 7 and 66 professional licenses as well as her Texas Life and Health Insurance License.

Reverend Howard Caesar was ordained a Unity Minister in 1976. He began his ministry in Olympia, Washington where he served for seven years. In 1983, Spirit led him to Unity of Houston where he has been Senior Minister for the past thirty years.

Rev. Howard Caesar’s messages teach a positive, practical and progressive approach to Christianity. His Sunday lessons have helped many find deeper spiritual meaning in their lives while experiencing happier, healthier and more productive ways of living.

Recognized as one of the foremost leaders and speakers with the New Thought message, Rev. Caesar’s vision and global outreach includes traveling the world meeting with spiritual leaders such as his Holiness the Dalai Lama. He has served on the Board of Directors to many global organizations including the Association for Global New Thought, International New Thought Alliance, Association of Unity Churches as well as Board Chair for Unity World Headquarters.

Howard has been the recipient of many accolades during his career including the prestigious Board of Preachers at the Martin Luther King Chapel at Morehouse College, the Light of God Expressing Award, the Voice of Unity Award for 35 years in radio and TV, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award given by his peers for his dedication, achievements and leadership.

Marilyn Douglas-Jones has spent her life teaching others to learn. Currently a professor at Houston Community College, Jones has taught three different language courses at three universities and two community colleges, including Prairie View A&M University. Marilyn's devotion to charity is long established. She is a former officer on the Board of Kiwanis International, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and the Center for the Healing of Racism.

Marilyn is a poet, freelance journalist and multilingual translator- consultant who empowers diverse individuals in both the academic and broader communities.
